I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, but unfortunately, facing the McDonald's drive-through made the mornings quite noisy. The old-school wall A/C and ceiling fan were a unique touch, although I missed having central heating and A/C. The service was a bit hit or miss - they assured us of security but walked into our room without knocking. The location, while central in Sacramento, was not ideal due to the surrounding transient and homeless population. The dining options were limited, with basic offerings like weak coffee and packaged pastries. Overall, it's a decent base for exploring Sacramento, but the noise and location downside are noteworthy.
